จากกรุงเทพไปโอมาน มีเที่ยวบินตรงเกือบทุกวันทั้งการบินไทย และ Oman Air เราเลือกเดินทางกับการบินไทยเพราะเพื่อนบางคนเป็นคนกินยาก อย่างน้อยบนเครื่องก็มีอาหารอร่อยๆ ให้กิน และค่าตั๋วไปกลับ กรุงเทพ-มัสกัต เมืองหลวงของโอมาน ถ้าจองล่วงหน้านานๆ ก็ราคาประมาณ 13,xxx เท่านั้น ราคานี้ถือว่ารับได้ แต่การบินไทยไม่ได้บินตรงนะ ต้องแวะเติมน้ำมันที่เมืองการาจี ประเทศปากีสถาน 1 ชั่วโมง นั่งดูหนังบนเครื่องไปเพลินๆ และบินต่อไปมัสกัตอีก 1 ชั่วโมงก็ถึงแล้ว คนไทยมาเที่ยวโอมานไม่ทำวีซ่ามาล่วงหน้า เพราะสามารถมาทำแบบ On Arrival ได้ที่สนามบิน ราคาคนละ 500 บาทอยู่ได้ 10 วัน จ่ายเงินปุ๊ป ก็เข้าไปเที่ยวโอมานกันได้เลย!

There are many direct flights from Bangkok to Oman such as Thai Airways and Oman Air. We chose Thai Airways because of the food matched with our tastes. If booking the flight sooner, you will definitely get the round-trip flights from Bangkok to Muscat only 13,xxx Thai baht. Although this price is not a direct flight and needs to be transited at Pakistan, it doesn’t matter to wait only 1 hour and take another 1 hour to Muscat.
For Thai people, you can get a visa on arrival which costs 500 Thai Baht that you can stay 10 days. So, what are you waiting for? Oman is welcomed to you!

Renting a car in Oman is so easy! There are several types of cars for you both a super car and eco-car. Online pre-arrival booking is available. Booking at the airport is accessible too. The rate of renting fee is similar to Thailand’s. Some rented cars have some restricted conditions; for example, you are fined for exceeding maximum mileage per day. So, carefully checking the renting conditions is strongly recommended. Do not forget to bring your international driving license and credit card for deposit. If renting a car is not interesting, bus and taxi is another option.
Day 1 Cliff Jumping In Wadi shab
วันแรกไม่นับเพราะกว่าจะได้รถขับออกจากสนามบินก็ค่อนข้างค่ำพอสมควร ตัดภาพมาวันแรกแบบจริงๆ จังๆ กันเลยดีกว่า เมื่อคืนพอเก็บของเข้าที่โรงแรมเรียบร้อยแล้ว ก็เปิด Google Map หาซุปเปอร์มาร์เก็ต จำไว้นะคะหนู Road Trip ที่ดีควรซื้อขนมนมเนยติดรถไว้พอสมควรเผื่อหิวกลางทาง พร้อมน้ำดื่มแบบเพียงพอสำหรับทุกคน 5555 ดูเวอร์แต่ควรทำ
The arrival day was not counted! We left the airport very late. Once checking-in at the hotel, we searched for a super market. Remember! It is necessary to take snacks and drinking water during the road trip. And make sure that drinking water is enough for everyone!

The first place we went was Bimmah Sinkhole. According to Dailymail, this is the most beautiful sinkhole in the world! It is a natural big hole with such clear water.
ช่วงที่เราไปเพื่อนรักเราจากอินเดียมาถ่ายหนังบอลลีวู้ดกันพอดี คุยกับคนคุมซักพักว่า “หนูมาไกลจริงๆ ขอเข้าไปทีเถอะ” นางก็พาเดินเข้ามาดูเค้าถ่ายหนังกัน 5555 จริงๆ มันสามารถเดินเลาะขอบๆ หลุมแล้วกระโดดลงมาได้ด้วย แต่.. เค้าบอกว่าไม่ได้อนุญาตให้ทำ เพราะมันอันตราย เราก็ไม่ชัวร์ว่ามันผิดกฏหรือป่าว เลยไม่ทำดีกว่า แต่แค่เดินดูรอบๆ ก็คุ้มแล้วนะที่มาเห็น เพราะมันใหญ่และสวยมากจริงๆ ที่สำคัญเข้าฟรีด้วยนะฮ้า
On that day, Bimmah Sinkhole was shot the scene in a Bollywood movie. “Can we go inside please? We really intend to see inside”, I said. The guard was so nice. He took us inside by walking along the hole. It seemed that we could jump to the hole, but he said it was not allowed. It was too dangerous and we didn’t know whether it was illegal or not. Just seeing and walking around was worthy to be here! It was so big, beautiful and free entry!

This point was really closed to the sea, but we could not walk closer because of the heat. So, we drove to take a photo instead. No one was here, so we spent a plenty of time as much as we could.

Daily Highlights!
Driving further, we met Wadi Shab or Wadi Oasis. It was such a stunning place as if we had been in a national park in the United State.
Wake up! We are in the Middle East. Imagine that you are in the middle of mountains while water gradually goes through the path of mountains to the sea. You are happy, aren’t you?
เดินต่อเข้าไปข้างในได้เรื่อยๆ แต่จากฝั่งที่เราจอดรถจะต้องนั่งเรือข้ามไป ราคาไปกลับอยุ่ที่ 1 เรียลหรือ 100 บาท ประเทศนี้นะ อะไรที่ควรถูกก็แพง อะไรที่ควรแพงก็ถูก ลักษณะเหมือนเรือหางยาวข้ามฝั่งนิดเดียว ถ้านั่งที่บ้านเราเก็บ 3 บาท คนก็น่าจะยังด่าอะ แต่นี่เก็บ 100 บาท! จริงๆ มันสามารถเดินข้ามน้ำเข้าไปได้ น้ำจะลึกประมาณหัวเข่า แต่เป็นห่วงกล้อง และมือถือที่เอามาด้วย เพราะฉะนั้นก็ต้องยอมจ่าย
Before walking inside, we parked the car and got into a boat to cross a river. A boat fee was 1 rial or 100 Thai Baht. In Oman, we can say that something cheap is expensive while something expensive is cheap. If we take the boat like this in Thailand, it costs only 3 Thai Baht! Although we could walk through the river because it was not deep, we didn’t want our cameras and mobile phones get wet. So, we had to pay inevitably.
จริงๆ Wadi Shab เดินเข้าไปประมาณ 30 นาทีจะเป็นทางที่ต้องว่ายน้ำเข้าไป ด้านในจะมีถ้ำเล็กๆ ให้ลอดเข้าไปพร้อมน้ำตกเย็นฉ่ำ สามารถปีนป่ายและกระโดดได้เต็มที่ แต่อย่าห่าม ระมัดระวังกันด้วยเพราะพื้นค่อนข้างลื่น และควรออกมาจากถ้ำประมาณ 4 โมง เพื่อให้เดินออกมาข้างนอกก่อนฟ้ามืด
After walking inside Wadi Shab about 30 minutes, we needed to swim to go to inside. Finally, we found a little cave with a cool waterfall inside. It was time to enjoy climbing and scenery view. Still, mind the slippery steps.
Suggestion: you should be back before 4 pm. because it is dark on the way back.
เราใช้เวลาที่ Wadi Shab มากถึงครึ่งวันเต็มๆ เพราะเอ็นจอยกับการเล่นน้ำ เดินเล่นและถ่ายรูปไปเรื่อยๆ เราเจอผู้ชายโอมานคนนึงเป็นตำรวจและมาเที่ยวที่นี่ช่วงวันหยุดพอดี เลยได้พี่เค้านี่แหละช่วยนำทาง ทำให้เดินเหินสะดวกมากขึ้นเยอะ เวลาเดินทางสิ่งที่ควรทำคือระมัดระวังตัว ยิ่งไปกันเยอะยิ่งต้องช่วยกันดูแล อย่าเฮตามกันไปซะหมด แต่โชคดีว่าแต่ละครั้งเราจะเจอแต่คนดีๆ คอยช่วยตลอดเลย
We spent almost half day to enjoy the waterfall, take a photo and go for a walk to see this wonderful view. We met an Omani police spending his vacation here. He was lovely to lead us to walk to the cave. Although traveling as a group, it is needed to be careful and keep an eye on a stranger. Luckily, we always met a good person to help us all the time.

It was time to say goodbye to the first day of our trip at Wadi Shab. Once the sunset, we drove to stay overnight at Sur, the city we dare to say that it was so awesome!
Day 2 Get Closer to the Real Local!
เมื่อคืนเราพักกันที่ Al Ayjan Plaza Hotel โรงแรมนี้จะเนินเขาเล็กๆ อยู่ด้านหลัง ตื่นเช้ามาสามารถปีนขึ้นไปดูวิวเมืองSur(ซัว) สวยๆ ได้เลย เมืองนี้เป็นเมืองท่าติดชายทะเลเราจะเห็นวิถีชีวิตชาวบ้านยามเช้าออกเรือไปตกปลา มองไกลๆ ก็น่ารักดี แถมสีของบ้านก็เหมือนกันเกือบทั้งหมดคือสีขาวๆ ครีมๆ คงเป็นเหมือนเมืองอื่นๆ ในตะวันออกกลางเวลาเจอพายุทะเลทรายจะได้ไม่ต้องคอยมาทาสีบ้านกันใหม่ เลยทำสีพื้นๆ แบบนี้ไว้ซะเลย
Last night, we stayed at Al Ayjan Plaza Hotel. It is located in front of a small hill, so we climbed up to see the city view in the morning.
Sur is located along the coast. It is normal to see local people go fishing every morning and the color of building in this city is the same which is white. The main reason might be the same as other cities’ that they do not have to repaint when they get dirty by a sandstorm.
แถมด้านข้างโรงแรมมีร้านชาและบารากุร้านนึงวิวดีมากกกกกกก เป็นวิวทะเลสาบกว้างๆ พร้อมกับชั้นดาดฟ้าให้ให้นั่งชิวกันอย่างสบายใจและถูกกฏหมายด้วยนะ
It was such a nice moment to sit on the rooftop and see the wide lake view. No worries! Baraku is legal and costs only 200 – 300 Thai Baht. You will be treated like Sultan or VIP guest here.
เราออกจากเมืองซัวพุ่งไปอีกโอเอซิสนึงคือ Wadi Bani Khalid เป็นอีกโอเอซิสที่คล้ายๆ กับ Wadi Shab เมื่อวานนั่นแหละ แต่ตรงนี้ดูเป็นสวนน้ำมากกว่า 55555 มีคาเฟ่ มีการ์ดคอยดูแล ถ้าเอาตามที่เห็นตรงนี้ดูปลอดภัยกว่า แต่ฟีลลิ่งมันไม่ได้อะ เราคิดว่ามันควรต้องดิบๆ และธรรมชาติแบบ Wadi Shab ถึงจะสนุกกว่า
We left Sur and went Wadi Bani, another oasis. It was similar to Wadi Shab somehow, but it was literally a water park. Café was available and a guard looked around. Honestly, it was safer than Oasis we visited yesterday, but the atmosphere of Wadi Shab was more natural.
ตรงนี้เหมาะสำหรับเด็กๆ มากนะ เล่นกันเพลินเลยทีเดียว ถ้าให้แนะนำสำหรับเราคือนอนตื่นสายๆ แล้วข้ามตรงนี้ไป เจอกันอีกทีทะเลทรายเวิร์คกว่า!
This spot was fun to children. We guarantee that the children will enjoy playing water here. Anyway, our suggestion is that waking up late, skipping this place and going to the desert directly is better.
ไฮไลท์สำหรับวันนี้คือ Al Reem Desert Camp เราจองที่พักนี้ไว้เพราะถูกและอยู่ใกล้ Wahiba Sands โปรดจำเอาไว้ว่าถ้าอยากไปดูพระอาทิตย์ตกควรนัดแนะกับทัวร์ไว้ก่อนและควรไปถึงที่พักก่อน 3 โมงครึ่งไม่ว่าที่ไหนก็ตาม เพราะทัวร์เข้าทะเลทรายเที่ยวสุดท้ายส่วนใหญ่จะหมดประมาณ 4 โมง
The main highlight today was Al Reem Desert Camp. We booked our accommodation here because it was cheap and near Wahiba Sands. Remember! If you want to see the sunset, book a tour and be there before 3.30 pm. The last group tour in each day was 4 pm.
ระหว่างทางพอเข้าเขตทะเลทรายจะมีน้องอูฐถูกล่ามไว้ระหว่างทางเป็นระยะ มันก็จะแทะเล็มใบไม้ของพวกมันไป
On the way to the desert area, camels were tied along the way. No worries! They enjoyed eating the leaves themselves.
เราเลือกชิวๆ ในโรงแรมเพราะวันนี้ที่เราเลือกกันเป็นแคมป์จะได้บรรยากาศนิดนึง แถมตอนกลางคืนเห็นดาวเยอะมาก ช่วงเย็นๆ เลยเดินเล่นด้านหลังโรงแรมเป็นเนินทรายหลายๆ เนิน พร้อมกับที่เลี้ยงอูฐของชาวบ้านเต็มไปหมด เราถามว่าที่ตรงทะเลทรายนี้เป็นของใคร ? เค้าบอกเป็นของรัฐบาล ถ้าชาวบ้านมาใช้เพื่อทำมาหากินส่วนตัวจะไม่เสียค่าใช้จ่าย แต่ถ้าเอาไว้รองรับนักท่องเที่ยวแบบโรงแรมนี้จะต้องจ่ายค่าบำรุงด้วย
The hotel we stayed this night was a camp style because we wanted to see the millions of stars at night. In the evening, we went for a walk in a desert behind the hotel. This desert belonged to the government. Local people are legal to feed their camels and use this space for free for earning a living. However, for business purpose like tourism, it was required to pay a fee.
Day 3 : SAND BASHING IN WAHIBA DESERT!
เมื่อวานเรามาถึงที่พักก็สี่โมงนิดๆ แล้วแถมหลงอีก เลยทำให้เข้าทะเลทรายไม่ทัน บอกเลยว่า 9 คนงอแงตรงนั้นว่ายังไงก็ต้องไปให้ได้นะ เพราะเพื่อนบางคนมาตะวันออกกลางครั้งแรกก็คาดหวังแหละว่าต้องได้เห็น
The reason why we warned you to be here before 3.30 pm because we got lost and arrived after 4 pm! Of course, we missed the last tour for going to the desert. All of us started find a way to go. Since this was the first time for some of us in Middle East, we must see the desert!
ง้อกันไปง้อกันมากับโรงแรม นางคงเห็นใจและบอกว่า ‘เออๆ เดี๋ยวพาไปตอนเช้าก็ได้ ดูพระอาทิตย์ขึ้นแทน แต่พวกมึงต้องตื่นนะ’ ตีห้าของวันนั้นแหกขี้ตารีบออกมารอรถกัน คนที่ขับรถให้เช้านี้คือน้องชายฝาแฝดของเจ้าของโรงแรม อิอิ หน้าตาจิ้มลิ้ม แต่มีหนวดเท่ๆ 555555 โดนพวกเราแอ๊วไปหลายดอก
We were back to ask for help at the hotel. They felt pity for us, so they promised to take us to see the sunrise at the desert. “You must wake up early!” They said. We woke up 5 am and hurried to wait the hotel driver. The driver for us today was the brother of owner’s hotel. By the way, he was so handsome.
Wahiba Sands เป็นทะเลทรายเนินต่ำๆ ไม่สูงเหมือนที่โดฮาหรือดูไบที่เคยไป ตรงนั้นจะสูงจนเสียว ที่นี่จะสูงแบบเด็กอนุบาลตื่นเต้น 5555 ก่อนเข้าทะเลทรายเค้าจะปล่อยลมยางก่อนเพื่อให้ขับในทรายได้ดีขึ้น ขับไปจอดบนเนินให้เราดูพระอาทิตย์ขึ้น สองพี่น้องฝาแฝดก็เซอร์วิสพวกเราด้วยชาอาหรับพร้อมอินทผาลัม น่ารักจริงๆ
Wahiba Sands was a small sand dune. It was not so big as the deserts in in Dubai or Doha. Those places were too high and scary. Before driving to Wahiba Sands, the driver released air from the car’s tires to better drive in the desert. He drove to the dune so that we could see the sunrise. Although it seemed there was nothing in a desert, we really enjoyed this moment and spent much time for taking a photo with these splendid views. Once we started getting hot, it was time to leave.

We came back to the hotel and had a big breakfast before starting the long journey today. The main highlight today was Jebel Shams, the highest mountain in Oman. On the way, we stopped by Ola Market in Al Hamra to buy some hipster souvenirs.
ระหว่างทางผ่านไป Jebel Shams เราจะเห็นหมู่บ้าน Misfat Al Abreen อยู่ไกลๆ หมู่บ้านนี้พึ่งดังในหมู่นักท่องเที่ยวนี้ไม่นานเท่าที่อื่น ตัวหมู่บ้านเองมันดูคูลเพราะทำจากหินเกือบทั้งหมด และแทรกด้วยต้นปาล์ม ถ้ามีเวลาพอก็ขับรถลงไปถ่ายรูปเก๋ๆ ในเมืองก็ได้ แต่เราไม่ทำ เพราะกลัวไปถึงที่พักบนยอดเขาไม่ทัน 5555
On the way to Jebel Shams, we saw Misfat Al Abreen village from a far view. This village has been popular and well-known recently because all buildings are made from stone. If we had time, we would drive to take a picture with them. But, we didn’t because we were afraid of being late at Jebel Shams.

Jebel Shams คือยอดเขาที่สูงที่สุดในโอมาน สูงกว่า 3,000 เมตร และสูงที่สุดในคาบสมุทรอาหรับทั้งหมด ที่นี่เค้าเรียกกันว่า Sun mountain เพราะเราจะได้เห็นพระอาทิตย์แยงตากันก่อนที่อื่นนะเอ้อ
Jebel Shams is the highest mountain in Oman and in Arab sea. It is 3,000 meters height above sea level. It is called Sun Mountain where people can see the sun before any places.
เราพักที่ Sunrise Resort เป็นเพิงง่ายๆ เอาไว้นอนอย่างเดียวนั่นแหละ ไม่ได้แย่แต่ก็ไม่ได้สะดวดสบาย กว่าจะถึงไปถึงข้างบนก็มืดแล้ว เลยรีบนอนแล้วเตรียมเครื่องสำอางค์ไว้เผื่อตื่นเช้ามาแต่งหน้าแข่งพระอาทิตย์!
We stayed overnight at Sunrise Resort. It was not comfortable, but it was ok to sleep for 1 night. Since we came late, we slept early to get ready for the trip tomorrow.

We woke up and walked to see Grand Canyon Oman. Although the beauty could not be compared to the one in US, it was really nice to take a photo with a golden sun.

On the way back, it was such a beautiful scenery view along the road. However, we had to drive very slowly because of

- Dangerous road
- Sheep! The sheep walked so quiet, but they loved to walk through the road!
ขากลับเข้ามัสกัตเราแวะที่ป้อมบาห์ลา (Bahla Fort) นี่คือป้อมที่เก่าแก่ที่สุดในโอมาน และเป็นป้อมเดียวที่ได้ขึ้นทะเบียนเป็นมรดกโลกจากยูเนสโก
On the way back to Muscat, we stopped by Bahla Fort. This was the oldest fort in Oman and was put on the List of World Heritage of UNESCO.

The color of fort building was light brown or creamy. It is made of sandstone and has no roofs, so it is very hot indeed. Still, it was very nice to take a picture here.
ที่นี่มีป้อมและหอคอยด้วย สามารถเดินขึ้นไปเรื่อยๆ จะเห็นเมือง Nizwa (นิซวา) ทั้งเมืองด้วย จากป้อมบาห์ลา กลับเข้ามัสกัตใช้เวลาประมาณ 2 ชั่วโมงครึ่ง นั่งเมาท์กันเพลินๆ แปปเดียวก็ถึง ระหว่างทางก็ไม่ต้องรีบมากหาจังหวะดีๆ ลงไปถ่ายรูปเล่นกันก็ได้นะ
This fort has a tower where we saw the city view of Nizwa. From Bahla Fort to Muscat, it took 2.5 hours. It was not too long and we also took a photo along the way back.

We arrived at Muscat and stayed overnight at Al Madinah Holiday Hotel, our first hotel in Oman. There were not many attractive places in Masqat, but the department stores here closed late around 11 pm. You also can drink at the hotel and some places outside require you to show your passport.
เราไปดู Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque ตอนกลางคืน แต่ไม่สามารถเข้าไปข้างในได้ เพราะเปิดให้คนที่ไม่ใช่มุสลิมเข้าได้ช่วง 08.00-11.00 วันเสาร์ถึงพฤหัสเท่านั้น ด้านนอกนั้นอลังการมาก เรานั่งตั้งแต่พระอาทิตย์ยังไม่ตก คุยกันเพลินๆ กับเพื่อนไปเรื่อยๆ รอเค้าเปิดไฟ
We went to Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque at night, but could not enter inside. It was allowed foreigners to enter only on Saturday to Thursday at 8 – 11 am. The building design was absolutely magnificent. We sat and talked since the sunset to wait the light be turned on.
Day 5 Day Trip in MUSCAT
วันสุดท้ายในโอมาน เรากลับเข้ามาชิวกันต่อที่มัสกัต ถ้าบินกับการบินไทย ขากลับจะมีเวลาเที่ยวอีก 1 วันเต็มๆ เพราะเครื่องออกนู่น 2 ทุ่มได้ เดินชิวๆ สบายได้ทั้งวัน
Today was the last day in Oman. We were still in Muscat. We flew back to Thailand with Thai Airways and the flight departed 8 pm, so we had a plenty of time to travel on the last day.
เราเริ่มวันสุดท้ายเช้าหน่อยเพราะอยากกลับเข้าไปดู Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque ด้านใน แนะนำว่าให้กลั้นใจตื่นเช้าซะหน่อย ควรมาถึงซักประมาณ 07.45 น. และเข้าไปเป็นนักท่องเที่ยวกลุ่มแรกๆ ที่นี่เรื่องเครื่องแต่งกายเคร่งครัดมาก ผู้หญิงกระโปรงต้องยาวคลุมเท้าทั้งหมด ผู้ชายขาสั้นก็ใส่ไม่ได้เด็ดขาด มีให้เช่าแต่จะเสียเวลาช่วงยืม-คืน เพราะฉะนั้นเราว่าแต่งให้มันถูกต้องไปเลยดีกว่า

You should be here at 7.45 am to be a first few group tour because it took time to get changed. Women need to wear the cloth covering their whole body while shorts are not allowed to men. The appropriate clothes are available to rent. However, it is recommended to wear appropriately from home to save time.
มัสยิดที่ใหญ่ที่สุดในโอมานนี้เป็นมัสยิดเดียวในโอมานที่เปิดให้คนที่ไม่ใช่มุสลิมเข้ามาเยี่ยมชม ที่นี่สร้างเสร็จในปี 2001 คือประมาณ 16 ปีที่แล้ว พร้อมความอลังการใหญ่โต เช่น Chandelier และ พรม ที่ใหญ่ที่สุดในโลก มันสวยมากจนต้องตะลึงกันเลยแหละ ได้ยินแว่วๆ มาว่าที่เอมิเรตส์กับกาตาร์ กำลังจะโค่นตำแหน่งนี้ลงไปแล้วไม่รู้จะทำได้รึป่าว แต่มาดูที่นี่เหอะ เวอร์วังมาก
This is the biggest Mosque in Oman where allows non-Muslims entering. It was built in 2001. It is truly gorgeous with an elegant chandelier and the biggest carpet in the world. We bet you will be stunned when seeing this. It is said that the United Arab Emirates and Qatar are trying to build the bigger ones. Let’s see if it happens.
สีพื้นๆ เรียบแต่โก้ของที่นี่ทำให้มันดูมีมนตร์ขลังมากขึ้น เดินไปมุมไหนก็รู้สึกว่าต้องสำรวมตลอดเวลา ที่นี่ให้นักท่องเที่ยวที่ไม่ใช่มุสลิมอยู่ได้ถึงแค่ประมาณ 11.00 น. เท่านั้น นี่คือเหตุผลว่าทำไมเธอควรกลั้นใจตื่นแต่เช้าและไปชมที่นี่ก่อน เพราะค่อยกลับมาพักที่โรงแรมก่อนเช็คเอ้าท์ก็ได้ ไม่ต้องรีบมาก
The color tone is plain, but serene. It made us feel peaceful and well behave wherever we stepped down. Since non-Muslims tourists are allowed to be here until 11 am, this was the main reason why we need to wake up early and visit here first.
เก็บของขึ้นรถพร้อมออกจากโรงแรมก่อนไปสนามบินตอนเย็น ช่วงบ่ายเราแวะชิวที่ย่าน Muttrah เมืองนี้เป็นเมืองชิวๆ ริมทะเล ก่อนที่เค้าจะเริ่มขุดเจาะน้ำมันแถวนี้ Muttrah เป็นศูนย์กลางทางการค้าขายมาก่อน พอเจริญรุ่งเรืองปุ๊ป ที่นี่ก็ยกระดับกลายมาเป็นเมืองท่าแบบเต็มตัว ช่วงเย็นๆมาเดินชิวริมน้ำก็ได้
Before heading to the airport, we stop by Muttrah, a trade and port center. It is recommended to go for a walk in the evening. It is really chilled.
หรือเป็นพวกชอบช๊อปปิ้งก็มาเดินที่ Muttrah Souq ที่นี่จะขายของทุกอย่าง ของฝาก ของกิน ของจุ๊บจิ๊บมีหมด แต่อยากเตือนว่าให้ดูดีๆ บางอย่างบ้านเราก็มี เพราะมันมีพวกของจากจีนและอินเดียผสมมาด้วยแต่ขายในราคาที่แพงขึ้นมากๆ ต่อราคากันเยอะๆ และเช็คคุณภาพให้ดีกันก่อนซื้อ
For shopping lovers, Muttrah Souq is strongly recommended! Everything can be found here such as snacks, accessories and souvenirs. Remark! Carefully have a look before buying. Something was made in India or China, but sold with expensive price. So, checking a quality and asking for a discount is a priority.
และจำกันให้ขึ้นใจว่าตลาดส่วนใหญ่ในแถบประเทศตะวันออกกลางจะเปิด 2 ช่วงคือช่วงสายๆ ถึงประมาณบ่ายสอง และปิดพักมาเปิดอีกทีช่วงประมาณ สี่โมงถึงกลางคืน เพราะฉะนั้นกะเวลามาให้ดี
And remember that most markets in Middle East open 2 time; from the late in the morning to 2 pm and from 4 pm until nighttime.
ก่อนไปสนามบินเราแวะไปละลายเงินเรียลกันที่ร้าน Al Makan Café เสิร์จหาจาก Google Map ได้เลย ร้านนี้ขายอาหารแพงแต่อร่อย 555 มีทั้งอาหารอาหรับและอาหารอิตาเลี่ยน มื้อสุดท้ายสั่งมากินกันให้เต็มที่ เป็นร้านติดริมทะเลที่บรรยากาศดีมาก
We still had time to stop by Al Makan Café where we found out from google map. They served both Arab and Italian food. The food was expensive, but really delicious. So, we had a big and great meal. This café is located on the coast, so we enjoyed the last view in Oman together.

Muscat International Airport is so small because the new building has not been finished yet. So, please spare time at least 3-4 hours to return the rented car, check-in, and be at immigration check point.

Before traveling to any places, I strongly recommend you to have international travel insurance. You cannot exactly know when any special situations will happen and it might lead to the need of insurance during your travel.

Moreover, the maximum coverage is 5 million Thai Baht and it gets 5% more coverage upon policy renewal. This is a thing you should have although it might not be used.

Traveling to Oman might be one of many people’s bucket lists. Still, Oman is assumed as a dangerous country, that’s why only few people go there. I would like say that you should overcome your fear and experience it by yourself. Do not believe in what other people said, but believe in what you see and what you find out. So, go and learn by yourself!
สุดท้ายแล้วย้ำกันอีกรอบเลยนะว่าโอมานไม่ใช่ประเทศที่น่ากลัว ไม่มีอะไรน่ากลัวเท่าใจตัวเองจริงๆ ลองแล้วจะรู้ว่าที่นี่น่ารักและเหมาะกับการชวนเพื่อนมาเที่ยวมากแค่ไหน ขนาดเรามากันตั้ง 9 คนยังแฮปปี้ทุกวันที่อยู่ด้วยกัน มาเที่ยวกับเพื่อนนั่งคุยเรื่องโง่ๆ ทำกิจกรรมที่สนุกและผจญภัยด้วยกัน มันจะเป็นเรื่องราวดีๆ ที่เล่ากันไปอีกนานเลยแหละ
Again, Oman is not the dangerous country! Experience this country by yourself and you will find out how a lovely country Oman is and what an enjoyable moment traveling with a bunch of friends is!
